Based out of Charlotte, NC - Dark Echoes is a powerful new Pink Floyd tribute band dedicated to recreating the sound, spirit, and atmosphere of one of rock’s most legendary acts. The band features Omar Martinez on guitar and lead vocals, Steven Gramling on bass and vocals, Chris Cassar on drums, and James Quigley on keyboards. Though Dark Echoes is a new project, its members have performed together for several years in other bands, developing a natural chemistry and musical precision that will shine through in every performance. With each musician bringing over 30 years of live experience, the band delivers a polished, authentic recreation of Pink Floyd’s iconic music — from the intricate soundscapes of The Dark Side of the Moon to the soaring solos of Comfortably Numb. Equipped with professional-grade gear, full PA system, and an impressive light and laser show enhanced by fog and visual effects, Dark Echoes transforms any venue into a true Pink Floyd experience — immersive, dynamic, and unforgettable.

Meet the Band

Omar is a seasoned guitarist and lead vocalist

with a rich performance history spanning Los

Angeles, Florida, Puerto Rico and now

Charlotte, NC. Known for his soulful

musicianship, Omar has spent years captivating

audiences across a variety of genres.

Omar Matinez as David Gilmour

Steven has been playing bass for decades.

Hailing from Virginia, he picked up and moved

to Los Angeles California in the hey day of

hair metal. He eventually made his mark in the

Hollywood Band KK Wilde which resulted in

national tours, 2 albums and several videos.

He currently resides in Charlotte, NC.

Chris is an accomplished drummer with a

long career that began in the thriving music

scene of New York and continues today in

Charlotte. With decades of live performance

experience, Chris brings precision, power,

and musicality to every stage he plays.

Chriss Cassar as Nick Mason

James is a talented keyboardist whose rich

musical background spans both New York

and Charlotte, North Carolina. Known for his

expressive playing and deep understanding

of tone and texture, he brings a blend of

technical skill and soulful feel to every

performance.
